What to Expect in Your First Online Class

Before Class:

  • After booking, check your email for health questionnaire and Zoom link
  • Have a sturdy chair without arms ready (kitchen chair works perfectly)
  • Wear comfortable, loose clothing that allows movement

  • New to Zoom? Don’t worry, we’ll help you get set up before your first class

During Class (45-60 minutes):

  • Welcome and centring (5 minutes)

I'm not good with technology—can I still join?

Absolutely. Many participants joined with minimal tech experience and learned quickly. We provide simple, step-by-step instructions in your welcome email. If you can send an email or browse websites, you can join our sessions. The optional welcome session lets you test everything with support before your first class.

Do I need to be flexible to start?

Not at all. Flexibility is a result of practice, not a requirement to begin. We meet you where you are and work with your current range of motion. Every movement has modifications, and you’ll gradually notice improvements over time with consistent practise.

What equipment do I need?

Just a sturdy chair without arms (like a kitchen or dining chair), comfortable clothing, and a device with internet access. Optional items include a yoga strap (or scarf) and a cushion for comfort. No yoga mat needed, and you never have to get down on the floor.

What's the difference between this and YouTube videos?
